Selling my HED tubular wheelset
I hate to let these go, but I simply have no use for them anymore.
How that I have a disc brake race bike, these will no longer fit.
It’s a HED Stinger 5 carbon tubular wheelset with an 11-speed Shimano hub. Included are Continental Attack Comp 22/Force Comp 24 tires.
I raced this setup for two seasons and used a different wheelset for training, so these wheels have less than 1,000 miles on them. The tires were re-glued at my local bike shop at the end of the 2018 season and haven’t been ridden since then.
I will include both quick release skewers (pictured). There are some minor scratches on the skewer heads, but no damage to the wheels.
Weight without tires is 1,472 grams (tires add about 500 grams). I removed the stickers when I first bought the wheelset, but I purchased a new sticker set and had them re-applied at the end of the 2018 season. They can easily be peeled back off if you’d like a more subtle look. I just thought it’d be best to give the buyer the option without making them apply the new set.
These wheels are light and fast, and the hubs have that awesome HED sound.
