Natural State Crit Series A Race – Final Laps
Another NSCS from May 7, 2025. I started near the front but the pace was brutal from the gun and I fell to the back where I spent nearly the entire race fighting just to stay attached in what turned out to be an over 28 mph average race that was strung out single-file almost all night. When Bryce crashed out early, our team was scattered and unable to communicate. With 5 laps to go, I moved up into the top 20, then clawed into the top 15, but a late prime surge pushed me back. I held on for 23rd out of 48 in what was an extremely hard race physically and mentally. Enjoy the last 6 laps in the dark.
