Natural State Crit Series A Race – First race of the season for me
Another NSCS from April 16, 2025. Not the most exciting footage from my camera’s perspective, as I only sniffed the front a few times. With a 7:45pm start time, this one got dark quick, so the footage gets pretty rotten. Overall, the race was really messy with riders all over the place – early season jitters, probably. Demsy Cifuentes took a flyer from a small break and stuck it for the win. The remainder of the break was caught on the last lap, with Andy Heuser taking second and Emerson Cifuentes in third. My teammate Bryce finished seventh. Another teammate Glyn flatted on lap 2 and couldn’t get his spare wheel sorted so we were down a rider early. I had trouble getting to and staying at the front, and Jason was racing his first A Race, just feeling it out.
